AVOID!!!! Also, this nail salon is filthy!! I ended up getting 3 ingrown toenails and a bad infection because the older Asian lady with the glasses does not know what the hell she is doing and cut all my nails into the nail bed. I was in so much pain. They do not disinfect the equipment and she was trying to use dirty cuticle removers and tools. The tools looked nasty. Disgusting!! Please note that I did not see anyone clean or disinfect the pedicure soaking tub in between customers. Then they took another customer. So Nasty!! This place should be fined for being so lazy and unhygienic that you risk your customers’ health because you do not follow the proper sanitation requirements! What is wrong with these people???

Really like this place, everyone is friendly and I love the way my nails came out. The owner did a great job.

I chose this store for my eyelash extensions because, as a Chinese customer, I trusted they would understand and deliver on Chinese aesthetics. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience ever. I happened to pass by the store and decided to walk in. The entire process for both eyes took less than 20 minutes, but the result was extremely disappointing. The extensions were the ugliest I’ve ever had—they looked unnatural, made my eyes appear smaller, and were very uncomfortable. My lashes were drooping, the glue was visibly noticeable, and the extensions were obviously crooked. They completely failed to enhance my eyes, which is the basic expectation for eyelash extensions. The "Before" photo shows the false eyelashes I usually apply myself, which look much better. The "After" photo shows the extensions done by this store, and the difference is shocking. I will never return to this place. The only advantage was the price—it was cheap (including tip, only $36). However, every time I look in the mirror now, I feel like crying and just want to remove them immediately.

This is a review for Big Apple nail and spa 2 at 84-27 Jamaica Ave. Queens, NY 11421. I've been going here for years and yesterday was the worst experience of my life. The one lady that did my nails usually only does mani/pedis but because they were busy they had her help with the fill in. A few of my nails are bumpy and one of the nails nail polish is chipping off meanwhile I paid 10 extra for the gel nail polish that isn't supposed to chip. She also cut my skin with the electric nail file. I'm very disappointed at the service I recieved yesterday. Not sure if I will be returning.

They are workers that do a rush job. My nails didn't last the week. No nail care here. I would only return if all the other options are full or closed and I just need my nails done for an event the next day. So most likely not. Update: 5/5 - After I took off the nails, my nails were all very damaged. Will not return at all.
